Project 2- Internet of Things and Python

Overview

You will work in teams or individually on this project.
But every student must hand in their own copy of the work.

The purpose of this project is to experience the possibilities available to automate tasks using Internet of Things single board computers, sensors, actuators and Python.
This will be done by having you create a Python Application with a GUI to control and test the IOT devices in the Somsen 301 lab.

Steps

    1. Project 2 Idea - complete and submit your problem information
    2. Possible solutions-control and test sensors individually, in groups-be creative, record temperature, sound or light level, turn on device, provide output of sensor to LCD screen...
    3. Project 2 resources:
      GroveP_Introduction.docx
SampleCode : right click, Save As...
    4. Due date is available in D2L, (no points for idea submissions after due date, but you still must complete the project)
